Thanks for all the comments. I have tried to use a different style and technique for each battle... and since it was a single character this week, I decided to go with the CG-smooth and detailed style.

I have been delighted by the response to all the techniques each week. Which style is your favorite? Which would you like to see me make a tutorial on?
BA4- street fighter chicks ( softer less saturated and light )
BA5- hurcules and the goblin ( harder more saturated dark sharp )
BA6- naruto ( smooth bright colorful )

I'd say first this one then street fighter chicks, but this one is first by far, I mean...I just have no idea a coloring could be this awesomely handled and different from others...how do you/what is this :iconcannotevenplz: (sorry for the nonsense, it's just so awesome xD)

Thanks! For this one I started with a quick two tone color rough of the pic to establish lighting. I smooth out the image adding detail and texture on top of the line art layer and just keep chipping away until you have it all cleaned up. I use all adjusted brushes no filters or texture overlays.

The street fighter pic was done entirely in black and white and then color was added at the end. This one uses a different technique of starting with broad soft edge shading and refining with a sharp edge. Colors were added in layers to allow for adjusting to achieve the proper fading perspective I wanted.

Thanks again! Hope that helps a bit?
